Tanya Kornikova
I'm a hands-on, goal-oriented, curious designer (print & web) originally from Belarus (a small country with forests, lakes, little rivers and streams, tucked in between Russia and Poland). I graduated with honors from a top university in Belarus with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design, specializing in Textile Design. I then went to work for a major clothing company as a Textile Designer, where I worked for about 2 years before moving to the United States in 2001 (Chicago). In Chicago I was hired by a publishing company shortly after I've completed a Web & Graphic Design Certificate Program and have been successfully working in the Graphic Design field ever since. In July 2019 my family and I moved to beautiful Portland, Oregon where I worked for a local apparel company, Goumikids, until the company was forced to downsize, November 2022. I'm currently looking for freelance and full-time opportunities in the area, so please feel free to reach out if you have a need for a stellar designer.

I’ve watched Gilmore Girls 4 times: first time by myself, second with my oldest child, third with my youngest child, and fourth just because my youngest one decided that he missed a lot of movie/book references the first time.
When in a new city there are 3 must-to-check-out things: an art museum, a bookstore, and a botanical garden or a park. There is usually some noise from my loved ones who travel with me, but in the end, they always remember those places the most.
